'After 10 years of service in both the executive and legislative branches of Prince George’s County Government, I am honored to bring my skills, passion, and experience to Alexander & Cleaver’s Government Relations Team. Alexander & Cleaver allows me the opportunity to work on the issues that I am most passionate about, including public safety and health care, that affect the jurisdictions that I grew up in - Washington, D.C., Prince George’s County, and the great State of Maryland.'

Davion E. Percy joined our Government Relations Team in February of 2017. Prior to joining Alexander & Cleaver, Davion served in Prince George’s County Government for 10 years. He worked five years in the Department of Environmental Resources (now the Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement) in the Records Management, Engineering/Plans Review, and the Permits Processing sections. Most notably, Davion served as staff assistant to the Telecommunications Transmissions Facility Coordinating Committee, a member of DER’s Community Outreach Team, and an Inspector in Property Standards Division (now the Enforcement Division). During Davion’s last five years with Prince George’s County, he served in the office of Council Member Karen R. Toles (D-Suitland) as Constituent Services Specialist. As part of his duties, Davion acted as Council Member Toles’ community representative, liaison to the county’s public safety agencies, and advisor on public safety policy initiatives. As Chief of Staff, Davion advised Council Member Toles on all policy matters, including zoning issues, and served as her staff liaison to the Health, Education, and Human Services committee, which she chaired. Additionally, he oversaw the day-to-day functions of the office.
With Alexander & Cleaver, Davion primarily represents clients with matters before Prince George’s County Government and/or matters before the Maryland house and senate delegations in Annapolis that impact Prince George’s County.
Davion resides in Prince George’s County where he spends his spare time with family, and mentoring young men and women through community outreach programs with non-profits and the Prince George’s County Police Department.
