Government Relations Consultant

“I never start an engagement with a client without thoroughly understanding the nature of its business, the legislative and regulatory issues impacting the company, and the available assets to combat a detrimental law. This allows me to develop a comprehensive strategy that effectively utilizes all resources to make the client’s goals a reality. My background in corporate government relations and as a contract lobbyist before the Maryland General Assembly, uniquely position me to understand and meet the needs of our clients.”

Isaac Meyer is a seasoned government relations consultant with ten years of experience working with nonprofits and corporations to meet their advocacy and public policy goals.  Prior to rejoining Alexander & Cleaver, Isaac was principal at INM Consulting, a management consulting firm focused on helping nonprofit organizations maximize their government relations operations.

Prior to INM Consulting, Isaac served as Government Relations Manager for Service Corporation International (SCI) after successfully representing their interests in Maryland as a member of the Alexander & Cleaver team.  Isaac managed SCI’s government relations and public policy interests in 45 states and oversaw more than twenty contract lobbyists on retainer by the company.  Additionally, Isaac played an instrumental role in establishing SCI’s Political Action Committee strategy, deploying approximately $200,000 per year based on organizational priorities.
