S. Whitney Cleaver joined the firm in April 2009. Whitney’s practice of law focuses on
personal injury, primarily representing clients in court. She continues to build on her impressive
track record of achieving court awards for clients in excess of previously offered insurance
settlements.

Prior to joining the Alexander & Cleaver team, Whitney worked as an intern for Senator
Benjamin L. Cardin on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill. Before that she worked
as an intern for Steny H. Hoyer, Minority Leader of the US House of Representatives and a
summer associate with the United States Attorney’s Office in Baltimore.
