Robin Fogel Shaivitz has been a lobbyist and governmental relations specialist in Maryland for 28 years. For 19 years, she was President and CEO of Robin Shaivitz and Associates, Ltd. She joined the Law Offices of Alexander & Cleaver in June of 1998, where she is currently a member of the Government Relations team.

Ms Shaivitz specializes in issues pertaining to health care delivery and financing.  She has been recognized as one of the leading lobbyists in this field. Additionally, she focuses on matters pertaining to tax policy, economic development and energy. She also has been successful in achieving capital funding for some of the outstanding non-profit organizations in the state, such as the Walters Art Museum, Center Stage, and the Baltimore Opera Company.

A cum laude graduate of Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, Robin also attended the University of Tennessee School of Social Work. Robin often lectures on the subject of lobbying and governmental relations to a variety of national and statewide organizations including the American College of Pathology, the Maryland Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and HCR Manor Care, and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
