Robin F. Shaivitz is the Chief Operating Officer of the Government Relations Division
and has been with the firm since 1997. Prior to joining the firm, she was the President of
Robin Shaivitz and Associates, a lobbying firm headquartered in Annapolis. She focuses
on issues pertaining to health care and taxation policy, among many others, while being
involved with most client issues as she now leads and manages the government relations
team for the firm. Robin has consistently ranked among the top earning lobbyists in the
state, and is in the “Circle of Excellence” for achieving the award of “Top 100 Women”
three times by The Daily Record. She serves on the Board of Goucher College and is
active in many other civic, and community organizations. She is frequently asked to
speak on the topic of advocacy and lobbying around the state and region.

Robin is a cum laude graduate of Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. She also
attended the University of Tennessee School of Social Work. Robin often lectures on
the subject of lobbying and governmental relations to a variety of national and statewide
organizations including the American College of Pathology, HCR Manor Care, the Johns
Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the University of Maryland School of
Journalism.

Robin lives in Columbia, Maryland.
