Robin Fogel Shaivitz has been a lobbyist and governmental relations specialist in Maryland for over 27 years. For 19 years, she was President and CEO of Robin Shaivitz and Associates, Ltd. She joined the Law Offices of Alexander & Cleaver in June of 1998, where she is currently a senior member of the Government Relations team.

Robin works on a host of issues dealing with legislation, regulations and the procurement process throughout the state. Over the years she has worked with members of the General Assembly and Executive branch, in addition to the Maryland Congressional Delegation and local officials. Some of her most notable successes are in the field of health care, tax policy and environmental management.

Robin is a cum laude graduate of Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. She also attended the University of Tennessee School of Social Work. Robin often lectures on the subject of lobbying and governmental relations to a variety of national and statewide organizations including the American College of Pathology, the Maryland Society of Hospital Pharmacists and HCR Manor Care.

She lives in Columbia, Maryland and is married to Joel Shaivitz and has two sons.
